Una dintre cele mai importante probleme \u00een dezvoltarea acestei tehnologii este asigurarea siguran\u021bei bateriilor litiu-ion. \u00cen special, separatorul din baterie previne scurtcircuitele prin separarea fizic\u0103 a catodului \u0219i anodului, astfel \u00eenc\u00e2t joac\u0103 un rol important \u00een men\u021binerea func\u021bion\u0103rii normale a bateriei. Dac\u0103 separatorul este deteriorat, catodul \u0219i anodul pot intra \u00een contact direct, provoc\u00e2nd un scurtcircuit. Scurtcircuitele cauzeaz\u0103 \u00eenc\u0103lzirea rapid\u0103 a bateriilor, ceea ce poate duce la incendii \u0219i explozii. Deoarece deteriorarea separatorului poate fi cauzat\u0103 de diver\u0219i factori externi, cum ar fi dendritele (cristale dendritice), impacturile mecanice \u0219i suprasarcinile, evaluarea acestor factori este esen\u021bial\u0103 pentru \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021birea siguran\u021bei. Testul a fost efectuat cu ajutorul ma\u0219inii universale de testare de precizie AGS-V \u0219i al unui dispozitiv de testare a perfor\u0103rii sacului de fierbere. Acest dispozitiv este fixat simplu cu ajutorul piuli\u021belor, astfel \u00eenc\u00e2t este u\u0219or de instalat \u0219i de \u00eendep\u0103rtat probele. Testele au fost efectuate \u00eentr-o camer\u0103 folosind un dispozitiv de tip cu\u0219c\u0103. Atunci c\u00e2nd testele sunt efectuate \u00eentr-o camer\u0103 termostatic\u0103, gabaritul este conectat prin intermediul unei tije lungi, astfel \u00eenc\u00e2t exist\u0103 posibilitatea deform\u0103rii din cauza sarcinii de compresie. Dispozitivul de tip colivie este un dispozitiv pentru efectuarea \u00eencerc\u0103rilor de compresiune \u00een care sarcina este aplicat\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd este ac\u021bionat \u00een direc\u021bia trac\u021biunii (figura 1). \u00cencerc\u0103rile de compresiune se efectueaz\u0103 prin deplasarea \u00een sus a p\u0103r\u021bii albastre, cu partea verde fixat\u0103. Prin urmare, testele pot fi efectuate f\u0103r\u0103 a se produce deformarea din cauza sarcinii. Condi\u021biile de testare sunt prezentate \u00een tabelul 2. Testele au fost efectuate pe 3 tipuri de separatoare fabricate de produc\u0103tori diferi\u021bi \u00een 3 condi\u021bii de temperatur\u0103. Prin aplicarea unei pre\u00eenc\u0103rc\u0103ri de 0,1 N \u0219i ajustarea pozi\u021biei de origine a cursei, testele au putut fi efectuate cu o reproductibilitate bun\u0103. Axa orizontal\u0103 indic\u0103 cursa; axa vertical\u0103 indic\u0103 for\u021ba de testare; curbele \u00een linie continu\u0103 (ro\u0219u) sunt pentru temperatura camerei; curbele \u00een linie punctat\u0103 (albastru) sunt pentru 60 \u00b0C; iar curbele \u00een linie punctat\u0103 (verde) sunt pentru 90 \u00b0C. Un rezumat al rezultatelor testelor este prezentat \u00een figura 3. Rezisten\u021ba separatoarelor tuturor produc\u0103torilor a fost redus\u0103 la temperaturi mai ridicate. Tabelul 4 prezint\u0103 valorile de rezisten\u021b\u0103 calculate la fiecare temperatur\u0103, rezisten\u021ba la temperatura camerei fiind de 100 %.
