The history of Shimadzu began with the launch of a hot air balloon into the sky<\/a>.<\/p>

Our company founder, Genzo Shimadzu Senior, had no prior knowledge or experience with hot air balloons, but he challenged himself to develop one, and he succeeded magnificently.<\/p>

His curiosity and pioneering spirit continue to guide us to this day.\u00a0<\/p>
